Ladies & Gentleman,

It is my great honor to let you know that I am running to be your next Mayor of Forest Park, Georgia.  Why am I running?  Because, I am not happy with the way things are now!  CHANGE MUST COME!

Our city has a promising future, but we must come together during these difficult times.  For months, we have seen the gathering clouds of an economic downturn.  Now we are in the storm.  I know the conversations taking place around kitchen tables across our city.  I feel the anxiety.  I know the impact this has had on my neighbors and friends.

That's why now is the time for government to do more with less and forge new partnerships.  But the solution to our challenges comes not from government alone.  All of us must work together toward common interests and common aims.  But we must have leaders who are willing to work together.  Leaders who are willing to hear from the common man.

I care about bringing our community together and building new partnerships.  I want to focus on creating jobs -- making sure that businesses in Forest Park can start, grow and sustain. 

Forest Park should be a city of innovation and imagination -- that stands ready to show how we can create new opportunities.  This is what I am about.  I want to bring bold change to the Mayor's office to lead our city into a brighter future.

Regardless of who I am running against, I am still running for the same things:  for schools that serve all our children; for neighborhoods that people are proud to call home -- safe for ALL the citizens who come to our city; for democratic rights for all our residents.  If we want to be one city, then no neighborhood should be left behind.  You should see our progress everywhere you look.  Help us make this the most amazing city in the County and State.  Change can do this.  We can do this...the citizens of Forest  Park.  Let me be your voice and represent you.  I want to be your Mayor.

You must now make the decision to cast your vote for the clear choice.  When we think about four more years of the same, you must consider your option - CHRISTINE ELLINGTON for Bold Change!
